A Day in the Life of Leslieville
Day 344: A Day (not) in the Life of Leslieville ;)
This is definitely not Leslieville, nor is it my photo (and some of you may have seen this as it’s making the rounds)…BUT…what better way to celebrate the Winter Solstice, if you didn’t already last night, (officially 11pm last night here and 8am this morning ‘universal time’ ie; UK), on a crummy grey day like this, than posting this incredible photo of the end of the winter sun and the beginning of longer days – yay! This photo was taken on Sunday in Nunavut. It’s a thermos of tea being thrown into -40C temps instantly turning to ‘iced tea’. The photographer is Michael Davies who has given public permission to post and share widely. Spread the magic!
