Day 222: Community Canoes
I’d seen these around and photographed them a month or so back, not knowing their significance so went in search again for more updated pics after seeing a post about them yesterday. Every day’s a school day. A great city project. In a nutshell, they are ‘Pollinator friendly gardens that stretch across the old Garrison Creek providing habitat, ecological diversity and a reminder of where the (buried) water is in the city’. The 2 locations below are A) Rhodes at Gerrard and B) Dundas & Broadview on the Native school grounds.
